The duratec engine is very well designed but lacks strong rods until K1 rods arrived with affordable options. The rods are forged 4349 Steel H Beam while being shot peened for better stability. The K1 forged rods are using a bronze wrist pin bushing and are within one gram plus or minus of each other. The connecting rod bolts used are the best ARP fasteners for high stress appliations. These are really recommended for the high boost applications fits both 3 liter and 2.5 liter duratecs. Note: The kit contains 6 Rods w/ARP bolts and the wrist pin bushing needs to be pin fitted by customer. Fits: All V6 Duratecs 2.5 & 3.0 liter engines
