Diamond Pistons 9.1:1 CR Cyclone 2011-2015 Ford Mustang V6

The forged Diamond dished pistons are made 2618 T6 aluminum high strength material made for high boost applications. They are lightweight pistons with silicon-aluminum alloy for high heat applications. The pistons are milled under the crown to reduce weight for high rpm. We also provided thicker ring lands for boosted applications. The stock bore is 95.5 mm (3.76″) and we make the Pistons 3.77″ (0.010″ over) overbore. They come with 4130 forged pins chamfered on the ends. We also include the sealed power ring sets with a stronger top ring for boosted applications. All this is included with the retaining clips too.

Diamond pistons offer coatings for different applications. The side skirts are very highly recommend to be coated with moly this provides ultimate lubrication and less side skirting scarring between the cylinder walls and the piston. The coating is very durable and gives you added protection and longitivity of the sealing surface. OEM pistons usually come standard with this coating due to the piston slap is normal in all applications.

The Crown or top of the piston can be Ceramic coated to reduce the heat transfer. The reduction in heat keep oils temps down, edges of the piston cooler ( reduces detonation and allows for more timing), and most importantly reduces ring lands pitting and cracking due to extreme heat.
